Stampers By The Dozen – Bundles!

Happy weekend readers!  It’s the third Saturday of the month and time for another hop with the twelve Stampers By The Dozen!

This month’s theme is bundles!  With the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog coming to a close, now is the perfect time to purchase your favorite bundle offerings as these stamp/die/punch combos won’t be bundled together when the new annual catalog begins.

This month, I wanted to highlight the Magical Day bundle!  I’m so sad to see this won’t be carrying over to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, and I’m trying to get all the miles on this stamp set and dies as a I can!  This set is perfect for kid and adult cards, invitations, and packaging for parties.
I love the mermaids in this set!  I wanted to color them each differently to coordinate with the sentiment of how unique everyone is.  First, I used my Aqua Painter and colored the watercolor paper with water and the Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay ink refills to do a watercolor wash in the background.  

Next for the mermaids, I stamped them on Whisper White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Momento and colored them in using the Stampin’ Blends markers.  It’s hard to see in the photo, but I used my Wink of Stella glitter brush to give the girls a little glimmer!  For the ribbon, Stampin’ Up doesn’t offer a Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blend marker so I used my Stampin’ Write marker to color in the ribbon to give it bright color as well.
