Happy Wednesday everyone! August is quickly flying by and it’s time for another month with the Colour Combo Blog Hop!
This month’s colors are right up my alley! I love these three colors together and was so excited to see the color choices for this month. I knew right away I wanted to do a watercolor focal point color project and the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set is a perfect choice!

I started off with a Pacific Point cardstock base and stamped the smaller flower in coordinating ink to give it the tone on tone look. I used Pear Pizzaz for my base layer and Watercolor Paper for my top. I stamped the two flowers in StazOn ink so that the ink wouldn’t bleed when I watercolored.
After I stamped, I used the Nested Stitched Shapes Dies to cut a piece right out of the middle of the flowers and using my Aqua Painter, I picked up ink from my ink pads and spot colored certain petals and stems. To make the colors stand out even more, I used my Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop out the die cut. My sentiment was stamped using Pacific Point ink on coordinating cardstock for a final finish.
