Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop - Dads, Grads, Brides and Babies!

Happy Wednesday! It’s a new month and it’s time for another hop with the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop group!

This month is all about celebrations! From Dads, Grads, Brides and Babies, our theme celebrates them all! I wanted to focus my project on babies this month and use a stamp set I haven’t gotten too much use out of yet, Perfectly Paired!

I originally purchased this stamp set because I really like coloring and this set is perfect for that! From Stampin’ Blends to Watercolor Pencils, this set is great for using a variety of coloring mediums. I wanted to use Watercolor Pencils on my project though.

I started with a Basic Black cardstock base and layered using Gray Granite cardstock. I stamped the ark image using Staz On black ink onto Watercolor Paper. The Stamparatus is perfect with this set since the watercolor paper isn’t completely smooth and you can add more and more ink until you get the perfect image!

Next using the pencils, I colored in my image and once finished, used the Blender Pen to soften the lines. I didn’t want to use an Aqua Painter as I just wanted to softly blend the lines and it turned out perfectly! I finished off the card with a little rhinestone and my sentiment!
