Its that time of the week Stampers! Time for another ‘Tis the Season Christmas Card Challenge! This week we have another color challenge which is perfect to get your creative juices flowing!
I had some trouble with this color scheme. Real Red and Garden Green always shout out Christmas colors to me, but I never work with Soft Sky. The color is just way too light for me. I like bright and bold colors! The paper is too light and the ink is barely visible, but I wanted to work out of my comfort zone and try something new.
I saw this layout on Pinterest the other day and thought this would work great for this challenge. I used a retired embossing folder, but I thought it brought something to the background mat that it needed. I inked my sentiment in Soft Sky (see I was right with it being too light) and used the new scallop tag punch to create the tag. Super easy to use and a great accessory! I pulled some of the sequins off of the gold sequin ribbon and added them for extra shine.
